Thousand Bomber Raids

  

The last 2 years of War have been long and Arduous the horrors unleashed upon us by the Nazi Scientists continue to thwart our war aims, despite recent SOFA successes. The entry into the War of our American allies has given us the chance to take the fight to the enemy through airpower. 

 

This year the massed raids on Berlin have done extensive damage to the Berlin railway system and  made more than a quarter of Berlin's total living accommodation unusable. Despite the devastation they caused, however, these raids have failed to achieve their objectives. German civilian morale has not broken, the city's defences and essential services are still maintained, and war production in greater Berlin has not fallen: in fact it appears German war production is continuing to rise through 1944. Area bombing must be considered to have failed to meet its stated objective, which was to win the war by bombing Germany until its economy and civilian morale collapsed.

German secret weapons of war have cost Bomber Command more than 500 aircraft, with their crews killed or captured, At this rate Bomber Command will have been wiped out before Berlin."

Gentlemen the aerial  Battle of Berlin is being lost by the RAF, it is time for a new tactic....

Secret agents in our employ at the heart of the Nazi regime have carried out an assassination plot to kill Hitler. since the bomb went off the Reich has descended into chaos and no word of the Fuehrer has been heard.

  

 Gentlemen, welcome to your Fifth Mission.  

The brave sacrifice of our agents in Berlin will be in vain if Hitler has survived. Our best guess is that he is either dead or severely injured your job is to find him and confirm or finish the kill!

The Russians have been closing in on the Capitol from the East and the Yanks from the West. With the Russians poised to assault the Bunker we have done a deal with them to allow SOFA agents

This time with her and the help of her crack commandos we are taking the fight to the very heart of the Nazi Empire.

 

In Berlin, under the Reichs-Chancellory is the Fuehrer-Bunker. This is the very heart of the Nazi Evil. Your mission is to assault this stronghold. You will go in immediately after a raid by Long range bomber-command. Your Russian escorts will take you to  the nearby Tiergarten (zoo). 

The Bunker entrance will be heavily guarded and we have new and very special equipment for you...

       

Our American allies have supplied the new and experimental COMMANCHE suit. This prototype is impervious to all but the the heaviest ordnance. Piloted by Sergeant Grant of the U.S. Special Forces, and equipped with a heavy flame thrower and explosive shell-firing heavy carbine you should overcome any resistance. Then you will move in and enter the bunker, destroying all the vile things you may find there. Most importantly find Hitler and ensure he dies.
