The recent shindig at Dunkirk has been hailed as Victory. Believe me gentlemen it is nothing of the sort. It is purely to boost morale at home.

The German success in Western Europe now means an invasion is imminent!

  The Home Guard are not expected to last long in the face of Hitler’s Storm troopers. It is vital that we stall the invasion for as long as possible to allow our army to re-group and reform.

To that end the War Cabinet has given the sanction to form a secret group of elite soldiers such as you, to wage a clandestine war on the most dangerous and hitherto hidden developments of the Nazi regime. You have been chosen for your specialist skills and will work under cover to combat the German threat as it unfolds.

Your special I.D. is included with this letter, please report to 666 Baker Street for a general briefing on the situation and your first mission.
